Megadeth – Sudden Death

February 22nd, 2012 Janet Leave a comment Go to comments

The first song from Megadeth’s thirteenth studio album “Th1rt3en”, released on November 1st and by the way the first track featuring David Ellefson on the bass again after Megadeth disbanded in 2002. Actually this song was recorded back in 2010 for the video game “Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock”, but after a Grammy nomination and loads of positive feedbacks the band decided to put the song on a regular studio album: “Th1rt3en”. With its aggressive lyrics, progressive riffs and loads of shredding it seems to continue the musical development of the band just like the previous album “Endgame”, meaning the return to an aggressive and fast-paced style of Thrash Metal after the era of “Risk” and “The World Needs a Hero”. Enjoy it and support Megadeth by buying this amazing album! m/ LYRICS: SUDDEN DEATH His wicked highness born from disaster To dominate and to kill [Solo - Mustaine] A glistening murder machine False majesty standing perfectly still [Solo - Mustaine] A blitzkrieg raining down evil On a mountain of black ice Like a good old fashioned beating within Inches of your life While alone and left abandoned With the sentence you’ve been handed All your angels will ignore you As your life flashes before you Even still you keep on fighting Through the thunder and the lightning And now heaven sends its love [Solo - Broderick] Your sudden death from above Once frozen like a prisoner depraved Perched high atop the lithosphere [Solo - Mustaine] Set free from beneath the depths

@CurzedGamer Not relly because you’d only have one great band like that and Kirk would never become such a great player!

@CurzedGamer actually it was a good mistake for us they gave us megadeth man and they left a big mark on metal history unlike metallica which sold out and got its reputation

@MegadethGuitarplayer Then I guess I have your appreciation. Cause unlike like others are REALLY into this. And not those kids in which parents drag them to concerts or anything like that.

The one thing i hate about my fellow metal heads is there so close minded when it comes to other music like rap/hiphop just because the hear lil wayne or watev on the radio if thats hip hop then kings of leon are thrash . Ive been listening to metal and rap for years and i have never once com across a hip hop head sayin bad shit bout metal, some of you need to grow up….anyway, MEGADTEH!!!! CANT WAIT FOR THE NEW TESTAMENT ND KREATOR ALBUM THIS YEAR

    Epic? EPIC!
Comparing Metallica to Megadeth is fucking useless. Of course Megadeth is better, the METAL GOD has spoken! lol
naah now seriously, they’re both so awesome.. just stop arguing about it in youtube comments like a bunch of children.
p.s.: once for all, Dave being kicked out of Metallica was a bless, not a fucking mistake. They should REALLY do an album together :)
