Question by : how do i find florida death records?
A family member of mine disappeared and I’m trying to find out where he is or if he’s still alive. Is there a number to call to find out? Google search hasn’t brought anything back.

Answer by ancestorseeker No unless it is a call to a relative. Ancestry.com (fee) as a FL Death Index 1877 to 1998. LDS FamilySearch.org (free) has a FL Death Index 1877 to 1939. Here is a link to various death records for Florida:

Try the SSDI (Social Security death index) but you need to know date of birth or at least yr born and approx year of death unless they have a really unique name.

frauds…is it really that easy to get these records to one alias and how come the fbi doesn’t know when instant checkmate does. do they pay the fbi?
