Call of the Dead | Round 70 | Birth of V-R11 Strategy | Black Ops Zombies

January 30th, 2012 Janet 25 comments

My last high round game/video on Call of the Dead. Our 4th and final world record for this zombie map (previously Rounds 48, 51 and 63). We decided to do suicides again – like we did on the previous records also. Connection was getting unstable and we died a lot because of it. We also got bored. This is the first video to fully introduce our V-R11 strategy to the masses. Almost everyone who eventually beat us used the same strategy shown here. Enjoy the strategy and make it far with it! Thanks for watching, I hope you find this strategy useful. We’ve been using it since we got to round 51 which was 7th of May. The two main weapons in this strategy are V-R11 Lazarus and Awful Lawton. V-R11 to kill the endless hordes of the undead and upgraded Crossbow to make it through the lag periods of a long game. FAQ Question:Did you mod or glitch to get this high? Answer: No, we used a legit running strategy – and same goes for all of the other zombie maps. Q: Why does George still speak somewhere eventhough you got rid of him with the V-R11? A: I’d like to know the answer too. Q: How long did it take? A: Something between 18 and 19 hours. With lot of breaks naturally. Q: How do you take breaks during a long game? A: Leave a crawler at the end of the round and take turns keeping an eye on it. Q: Can you play Call of the Dead with me? A: This was my (probably also my partners) last try of CotD. Q: Why did you suicide? You could’ve gone a lot further. A: Maybe so but Round 70 was the

In loving memory of Charlie Louvin, Grand Old Opry Legend Born — July 7th 1927 Died — January 26th 2011 Our loss, is the good Lord’s gain, a pioneer of Country Music has left the earth and rejoined his brother to play for God’s Heavenly band. Charlie Louvin, 83 years old, died Wednesday January 26th, 2011. Brother, Ira Louvin, preceded Charlie in 1965 . The two started singing together as children while still living with their parents in the small North East Alabama mountain community of Henagar, on Sand Mountain. There, they learned to sing at Church, using the ‘Shape Note Sacred Harp 5 Part Harmony’ that lead to the duo’s unique sound and inflection of their vocals. For decades the Louvin Brothers have been given credit for having written some of the most powerful, raw, and emotional songs the country genre has ever known. The Louvin Brothers are universally heralded as one of the greatest harmony duos in the history of Country Music. Ira Louvin’s high tenor voice would inspire awe and admiration in countless singers; from already established stars like Bill Monroe to future stars like Emmylou Harris. Gram Parsons paid friends to search record shops for Louvin Brothers records. It’s been said that Elvis Presley had advance copies of the Louvin’s records sent to him to give to his mother. A young Johnny Cash waited by the side of the road to catch a glimpse of Ira and Charlie Louvin drive past when he learned they were coming to his town. Ira Lonnie and Charles Elzer

If someone has a “death record” on archives.com, does that necessarily mean they’re dead?

December 17th, 2011 Janet No comments

Question by Robert: If someone has a “death record” on archives.com, does that necessarily mean they’re dead?
This morning, as I have many times before, I did a search for my old 7th grade history teacher from 14 years ago (96-97), only to be redirected to a page demanding my Credit Card Number which I shall not give! They promised a “free trial,” but I didn’t even attempt to proceed because I’m afraid it might not be as “free” as they say it is. But still, I kept searching for records on Ron Kolodzy (as well as Ronald J. Kolodzy and other forms of his name), and it kept telling me the same thing — that he has 1 birth, 1 marriage, 1 divorce, and 1 death record that cannot be accessed without membership to archives.com. So is there any possibility that this is a mistake or something standard they use to try to hook you? I’ve tried doing similar searches with other names but didn’t find any records in that box. So could you please tell me if it is possible that 53-year-old Ron Kolodzy in Texas, born on April 29th of 1957, is still alive? Is there any hope that he isn’t really dead? And what can I do to find out more information about him if he really is? How do I find-out when he died, what from, and where he’s burried if it turns out to be true that he has passed away?

When u do searches that result in an immediate response for your credit card info, aren’t technically completing your request.. (so 9 out of 10, it’s just a default response)but maybe you should higher an investigator or try to locate family members to be certain… or look up the obituary in the news paper for that timeframe… wish u luck…

Life and death 2: the brain (subdural hematoma surgery)

November 4th, 2011 Janet 25 comments

Being by far the easiest surgery performed in the game, the subdural hematoma remotion is quite hard to miss. Just do ALMOST what i do in this video, thought with a steadier mouse, so not to miss the cut so often (i already did this one perfectly twice, but did not record them). (abandonia.com has this game)

Death toll from Japan typhoon rises

September 21st, 2011 Janet 8 comments

The death toll from Japan’s worst typhoon since 2004 is now reportedly close to 40 with a desperate search underway for the scores of people still missing. Talas slammed into Japan’s main island over the weekend, wreaking havoc on a country still coming to terms with March’s catastrophic earthquake and tsunami. Although the torrential – and in some places record – rain has now eased in the worst affected areas, it has caused mudslides, burst river banks, destroyed infrastructure and led to power blackouts. … www.euronews.net
