the link you posted is not a death certificate. It states at the top, it is from the social security death index (not the same thing at atll). It states his social security was issued in Penn. which may or may not be the place of death.

a death CERTIFICATE has to be ordered from the state (and yes, it will have a fee).
Disposition of a body is legally a requirement for any death certificate.

Question by Qwerty: Need help translating italian death certificate!?
ok first of all the only way to see it is if you have an ancestry subscription. I’m trying to determine whos death certificate this is in relation to my 3rd great grandfather Vincenzo Iarusso.
heres the link to the record:
http://search.ancestry.com/Browse/view.aspx?dbid=1886&path=Potenza.Potenza.Atti+di+Morte.1890.48
I can make out that it says Vincenzo a mason and Michele Padula (who is one of Vincents sons wifes father) but I dont understand the rest of it. Is this his mother who died? his daughter? HELP!
Oh im sorry, I forgot its not exactly a death certificate. The person on the bottom right is who i’m talking about (Iarusso Isabella).

Question by Ted: I have a 1920 death certificate with a cause of death as “bule fraisage”.?
I have searched the internet and can find no meaning for this term. Could it be a misinterpretation of the original? Could it be a French medical term. I just want to know the cause of death in away I can understand.

If you know the town the death occurred I would call a funeral home over there, they should be able to point you in the right direction. If you are not family it will be hard to obtain. You are not going to find the death certificate on the internet.
